The trial run for South India’s first Vande Bharat practice between Chennai and Mysuru began on Monday. The practice can be flagged off by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The trial run for the indigenously-built high-speed rail started at MG Ramachandran Central Railway station, Chennai.
Sharing a video of the trial run, Union Minister Pralhad Joshi stated: “Countdown to the flag-off of South India’s first #VandeBharatExpress has begun. Here’s a clip of the trial run of the specific. Prime Minister @narendramodi Ji will flag off the practice on November 11.”
The practice, which can run six days per week, will depart from MGR Chennai Central at 5:50 am and attain Bengaluru Metropolis Junction at 10:25 am. From Bengaluru, it is going to depart at 10:30 am and attain its last vacation spot Mysuru at 12:30 pm. It should cowl round 497 km in 6 hours 40 minutes.
All 16 coaches of the practice are geared up with computerized doorways, a GPS-based audio-visual passenger info system, onboard hotspot Wi-Fi for leisure functions, and really comfy seating.
