The trial run for South India’s first Vande Bharat practice between Chennai and Mysuru began on Monday. The practice can be flagged off by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The trial run for the indigenously-built high-speed rail started at MG Ramachandran Central Railway station, Chennai.

The practice, which can run six days per week, will depart from MGR Chennai Central at 5:50 am and attain Bengaluru Metropolis Junction at 10:25 am. From Bengaluru, it is going to depart at 10:30 am and attain its last vacation spot Mysuru at 12:30 pm. It should cowl round 497 km in 6 hours 40 minutes.
