Autos belonging to GoI or its undertakings older than 15 yrs to not run on roads: Gadkari

Union Minister of Highway Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari mentioned that every one automobiles of the Authorities of India or its undertakings shall be scrapped after 15 years and shall not run on roads. He added that state governments must also scrap all buses, vehicles, and automobiles in departments that come below their purview which might be 15 years previous. 

Gadkari was quoted as saying by information company ANI, “Autos of GoI or GoI’s undertakings must be scrapped after 15 years, is not going to run on roads. GoI has despatched this coverage to all states. State govts too ought to scrap 15-year-old buses, vehicles, and automobiles in departments that come below their ambit.”

The event comes a day after Gadkari accepted the four-laning of the Bhiwani-Hansi highway part of NH-148B below the Bharatmala Pariyojana in Haryana with a funds outlay of Rs 1,322.13 crore. Gadkari mentioned the event of the highway part can even enhance the general effectivity of the long-route site visitors and freight motion which might guarantee easy and protected site visitors stream.
