U.S. lawmakers criticize Biden administration Puerto Rico gas waiver By Reuters

(Reuters) -A bipartisan group of Home of Representatives lawmakers criticized the Biden administration choice on Friday to waive U.S. delivery guidelines in September for the supply of gas to Puerto Rico.

The Sept. 28 Jones Act waiver allowed for the supply of diesel sourced from the mainland United States by British Petroleum Merchandise North America.

Home Transportation and Infrastructure Committee chair Peter DeFazio, a Democrat, and prime committee Republican Sam Graves expressed “issues and disappointment” over the waiver.
