Theaters brace for gradual film weekend as they await ‘Halloween’ (NYSE:SONY)

October’s first full weekend on the field workplace would not promise any aid from the big-grosses drought, although the remainder of October might provide starved exhibitors a little bit pre-holiday nourishment.

The movie struggled a bit in Thursday previews, although, with simply $550,000, and so is perhaps stretching to achieve double digit hundreds of thousands.

Greater than this weekend, although, trade eyes flip to the subsequent weekend, when Common (CMCSA) brings out its seasonal franchise-ender (for now) Halloween Ends, starring Jamie Lee Curtis. The week after that, superhero (and box-office hero) Dwayne Johnson stars in DC’s (WBD) newest, Black Adam.
