Lashana Lynch is applauding her “powerhouse” co-star Viola Davis in a brand new behind-the-scenes featurette from “The Lady King”.
In an unique clip launched to have fun the historic epic coming to digital platforms on Nov. 22 and hitting Blu-ray and DVD on Dec. 13, Lynch reveals what it was like working alongside the Oscar-winner.

“The Lady King” sees Davis starring as Common Nansica, the formidable chief of an all-female military generally known as the Agojie. It’s as much as the Common to coach the following era of younger fighters to defend their lands or lose their kingdom of Dahomey and freedom perpetually.
