The Neighbourhood Fires Drummer Brandon Fried After Groping Allegations From Maria Zardoya

The rock band The Neighbourhood introduced Sunday night that they’ve ousted their drummer, Brandon Fried, after being accused of groping María Zardoya, of the band The Marias.

The primary allegation got here Sunday when Zardoya took to her Instagram story to stage an allegation towards Fried.

Minutes after that, Fried shared a message apologizing for his actions and blamed his behaviour on substance abuse issues.

“I’m so terribly sorry to Maria. My actions had been inexcusable and insupportable,” Fried wrote. “They aren’t reflective of who I’m as an individual, however clearly a mirrored image of who I develop into whereas beneath the affect.”
