On Friday, the Palm Springs Worldwide Movie Competition introduced that the Canadian “Ladies Speaking” filmmaker will obtain its Director of the 12 months Award.

Polley will obtain the honour on Jan. 5, 2023 throughout the pageant, which will likely be working in-person by Jan. 16.
“Sarah Polley continues her excellent work as a author and director in her newest movie ‘Ladies Speaking’.
