Samsung Galaxy A52 5G Review

The Samsung Galaxy A52 is an excellent phone with its 5.2-inch display. This smartphone has 5G connectivity, but the US 5G network is still sparse. That means you’ll get sub-6 5G speeds, which aren’t that much faster than 4G LTE speeds. Regardless, the A52 is a great phone with an affordable price.

Price

The Samsung Galaxy A52 is a mid-range Android-based smartphone. It is part of Samsung’s Galaxy A series and was officially announced on 17 March 2021 at the company’s virtual Awesome Unpacked event. It is expected to launch in 2022 and is priced at $729.

The Samsung Galaxy A52 5G price is a little higher than that of the standard A52, but the phone has some good features, including a 120Hz screen and hardware-level support for C-band frequencies. It also has decent battery life, good camera performance, and a healthy processor/chipset combination. If you are on a tight budget, consider the A52 5G.

The A52 5G’s screen is nice to look at. It has more detail than its Galaxy S20 FE counterparts, and the contrast is very good. The Galaxy A52 5G is a great option if you’re on a tight budget. It costs less than half of the S21 Ultra and has similar performance.

Performance

The Samsung Galaxy A52 5G has a bright and crisp 449cd/m2 Super AMOLED display with a nice contrast ratio. It has an Adreno 619 GPU and 6GB of RAM. It also has 128GB of internal memory, which is expandable via microSD.

Its long-term software support is on par with that of Samsung flagships. You’ll get three OS updates and four years of security patches. This is more than most mid-range smartphones can offer. Some manufacturers are very generous with updates, but Samsung’s long-term commitment to software updates sets this handset apart.

The performance of the Samsung Galaxy A52 5G is excellent, considering the price. It has a solid build quality, a pleasing display, good battery life, and a good camera. However, it lacks some features that make it a good choice for the budget-conscious. Regarding camera quality, the primary camera is decent, but the secondary camera is less impressive. While the A52 5G isn’t a great phone, it is a solid midrange device and maybe your phone.

Design

The Galaxy A52 5G is an ordinary-looking smartphone that is easy to hold. It is not too large and has a relatively shallow camera housing that sits on the top right of the handset while resting on a desk. The phone also has a 3.5mm headset jack at the bottom edge of the phone.

Unlike its predecessor, the A52 5G has a metal frame. It also features a rounded back that does not wrap around the sides. The back panel houses four image sensors and an LED flash. It is unclear whether the phone will feature front or rear-facing cameras.

Battery life

In our battery test, we compared the battery life of the Samsung Galaxy A52 5G to that of a few competitors. The Samsung Galaxy A52 5G lasted almost two hours, comparable to the Realme 8 Pro. However, the Oppo and Xiaomi devices had a significantly longer battery life, with the latter allowing users to use the devices for up to five hours after completing a five-minute charge.

The battery life of the Samsung Galaxy A52 5G is surprisingly long. The phone manages the screen off idle mode much better than its competitors. It also does better than its rivals at 3G calling and 4G video streaming. It also has better performance when it comes to playing back video and music. It is even better than Xiaomi and Oppo when it comes to gaming.

Camera

The Samsung Galaxy A52 is an Android-based midrange smartphone. It is a new addition to the Galaxy A series of smartphones. It was announced on 17 March 2021 at the company’s virtual Awesome Unpacked event. It comes with a 5.0-megapixel rear-facing camera with an f/1.9 aperture. It also has a 5-megapixel front-facing camera.

The Samsung Galaxy A52 5G is a solid midrange with much to offer. It has a solid build quality, a pleasing display, and a long battery life. While it does lack the quality of some of its competitors, the camera is capable, at least for the price. The only real downside is the secondary camera, which is somewhat underwhelming.

The Samsung Galaxy A52 5G camera isn’t the best in its class, but it’s good enough for the price. If you’re looking for a high-quality camera for a budget-priced phone, the Galaxy S20 FE may be better. Samsung is offering a $150 trade-in rebate on the A52 5G, making it a great deal for the price. It also comes in four colors, although black is the only color available. If you want to trade in an older phone, the A52 5G has a smaller storage capacity than the Google Pixel 4a 5G.
