King Charles III didn’t precisely obtain a heat welcome on Wednesday when he and Queen Consort Camilla arrived in York, England, for an official go to.
The 73-year-old British monarch was greeting crowds at Micklegate Bar, a royal entrance to town, when a lone protestor tried to throw eggs at him, narrowly lacking.
The second was caught on digicam and Charles is seen barely acknowledging the eggs, which landed on the bottom subsequent to him.
A person was detained by police following the incident, and within the video, crowds are heard booing the protestor.
Charles and Camilla are in York to unveil a statue of his late mom, Queen Elizabeth II at York Minster.
