Karnataka Medium and Massive Industries Minister Murugesh Nirani on Saturday stated proposals for funding to the tune of Rs 1.57 lakh crore have been introduced through the International Buyers’ Meet (GIM) right here.
The three-day GIM concluded on Friday.
Briefing reporters, the Minister stated the GIM rose past expectations as plans for a complete funding of Rs 9.82 lakh crore have been made.
“We now have acquired funding proposals to the tune of Rs 9.82 lakh crore (since January this 12 months) out of which Rs 2.83 lakh crore have been accredited by the single-window/State high-level clearance committee (SWCC/SHLCC) and Rs 1.57 lakh-crore investments have been introduced through the GIM,” stated Nirani.
“There are different massive funding proposals that will likely be cleared by the State high-level clearance committee, headed by Chief Minister (Bommai), within the subsequent three months,” stated the Minister.
He stated the power sector acquired the main chunk of funding proposals, indicating the federal government’s thrust on various power sources corresponding to inexperienced hydrogen, inexperienced ammonia, wind, and photo voltaic.
