A clip from an interview Julia Roberts did with Gayle King has been doing the rounds on-line.
The A+E Networks and Historical past Channel’s HISTORYTalks September chat noticed Roberts reveal a stunning truth about herself — that Martin Luther King Jr. and his spouse, Coretta Scott King, paid the hospital invoice when she was born.

Roberts defined how her dad and mom, Walter and Betty Roberts, “couldn’t pay for the hospital invoice,” so the King household sorted it.
The actress recalled, “My dad and mom had a theatre college in Atlanta referred to as the Actors and Writers Workshop, and someday Coretta Scott King referred to as my mom and requested if her children could possibly be a part of the varsity as a result of they had been having a tough time discovering a spot that will settle for her children.
