John Lennon Letter Up for Public sale, Signed it the Day He Was Killed

The typed letter was personally signed by JL on December 8, 1980 — the day he was shot and killed outdoors his NYC residence — and it is believed to be the final authorized doc along with his autograph.

John despatched it to his accountant, Barry Nichols, and it lists 3 folks to whom John gave his proxy to vote at an annual assembly for the Beatles firms … which was occurring 9 days later in London.

This explicit memorabilia is anticipated to fetch between $30k and $50k … and if it does, that will be a candy deal contemplating his final autograph offered for $100k!

As you realize … the Beatles legend was infamously murdered by Mark David Chapman as he was strolling into The Dakota — John and Yoko Ono‘s residence constructing on Central Park.

Paradoxically, Lennon put his signature on one thing else that day … a replica of his “Double Fantasy” album, which Chapman had requested him to signal hours earlier than the capturing. That was auctioned again in 2020, and offered for $900k.
