India jumps to forty eighth place in ICAO aviation security rating, say DGCA officers

India has jumped to the forty eighth place within the international aviation security rating by the Worldwide Civil Aviation Group (ICAO), based on DGCA officers.

4 years in the past, the nation was ranked on the 102nd place.

Within the rating, Singapore is on the high, adopted by the UAE and South Korea on the second and third positions, respectively, the officers mentioned.

China is on the forty ninth place, they added.

Underneath its Common Security Oversight Audit Programme (USOAP) Steady Monitoring Strategy, an ICAO Coordinated Validation Mission (ICVM) was undertaken from November 9 to 16.

On November 16, the Directorate Normal of Civil Aviation (DGCA) mentioned the audit was performed within the areas of laws, organisation, private licensing, operations, airworthiness and aerodromes.
