Tesla competitor Normal Motors instructed CNBC it’s pausing promoting on the platform because it assesses Twitter underneath Musk’s new management.

GM couldn’t be instantly reached for remark by Insider.

Musk, who is also the CEO of Tesla, was formally handed the keys at Twitter on Thursday after months of authorized battles with the corporate. 

He has vowed to curb the censorship he alleges happens on Twitter’s platform, however some corporations that publicize on the platform are reportedly cautious.

Musk tweeted a message to advertisers on Thursday, assuring them that Twitter “can’t develop into a free-for-all hellscape the place something could be stated with no penalties.”
