Florida backup quarterback Jalen Kitna was arrested Wednesday on two counts of distribution of kid exploitation materials and three counts of possession of kid pornography.
Kitna, the 19-year-old son of former NFL quarterback Jon Kitna, was arrested by the Gainesville Police Division and booked into the Alachua County jail at 3:20 p.m. ET.
He has been suspended indefinitely from the soccer program.
“We’re shocked and saddened to listen to of the information involving Jalen Kitna,” the College of Florida Athletic Affiliation stated in an announcement. “These are extraordinarily severe fees and the College of Florida and the UAA have zero tolerance for such conduct.”
