Farewell to an icon. Christine McVie, the longtime keyboardist and co-lead vocalist of Fleetwood Mac, has died. She was 79.

“On behalf of Christine McVie’s household, it’s with a heavy coronary heart we’re informing you of Christine’s dying,” her household stated in a press release on Wednesday, November 30. “She handed away peacefully at hospital this morning, Wednesday, November thirtieth 2022, following a brief sickness. She was within the firm of her household. We kindly ask that you simply respect the household’s privateness at this extraordinarily painful time, and we wish everybody to maintain Christine of their hearts and bear in mind the lifetime of an unimaginable human being, and revered musician who was cherished universally. The remaining members of Fleetwood Mac launched their very own assertion on McVie’s passing, saying: “There are not any phrases to explain our disappointment on the passing of Christine McVie.
