WASHINGTON (Reuters) – Twitter’s ban on then President Donald Trump after the Jan. 6, 2021, assault on the U.S. Capitol by his supporters was a “grave mistake” that needed to be corrected, Chief Govt Elon Musk stated on Friday, though he additionally acknowledged that incitement to violence would proceed to be prohibited on Twitter.

Replying to a tweet, Musk stated it was “very regarding” that Twitter had taken no motion earlier to take away some accounts associated to the far-left Antifa motion. In response to a different tweet asking if Musk thought-about the assertion “trans individuals need to die” as worthy of suspension from the platform, the billionaire stated: “Completely”.
