Comic Gallagher Passes Away At Age 76

Comic Leo Anthony Gallagher Jr., identified mononymously as Gallagher, has died at age 76.

The star, who was identified for smashing watermelons as a part of his act, handed away whereas below hospice care within the Palm Springs space Friday morning, TMZ reported.

His longtime supervisor informed the publication that Gallagher died of huge organ failure and hadn’t been properly for some time.

TMZ said Gallagher, who shot to fame on Johnny Carson’s “Tonight Present” again in 1975, had suffered a number of coronary heart assaults through the years.

His rep informed the positioning, “Gallagher stayed on the street touring America for many years. He was fairly positive he held a report for probably the most stand-up dates, by attrition alone.
