CBS Information has halted all exercise on Twitter in mild of “uncertainty” over the modifications being made by the social media platform’s new proprietor, Elon Musk.
Selection is reporting that the suspension of tweeting is company-wide, and even extends to the information departments of CBS affiliate stations.

“In mild of the uncertainty round Twitter and out of an abundance of warning, CBS Information is pausing its exercise on the social media web site because it continues to observe the platform,” stated CBS Information nationwide correspondent Jonathan Vigliotti in a report in regards to the chaos engulfing Twitter that aired on the “CBS Night Information with Norah O’Donnell” Friday.
In line with Selection, San Francisco affiliate KPIX issued a tweet containing language that was nearly an identical to Vigliott’s.
Forbes reported that different CBS-owned stations have adopted swimsuit, with stations in Denver, Sacramento, Chicago, Baltimore, Boston, Detroit, Minneapolis, Pittsburgh and Dallas all halting posting to their Twitter accounts inside an hour of one another on Friday; CBS-owned WFOR-TV in Miami was the one station to proceed tweeting on Saturday.
