Shirley Baskin Familian, a founding father of the general public tv station KCET, died Oct. 23. She was 101 years previous.
Working along with her first husband, Burton Baskin, Baskin Familian co-founded the general public tv station KCET in Los Angeles. In 1964, KCET grew to become an affiliate of the Nationwide Academic Tv community. Baskin Familian served as a board member for KCET for greater than 60 years.
