Shah Rukh Khan, Anushka Sharma laud BCCI’s resolution to present equal pay to girls cricketers

This week, the Board of Management for Cricket in India’s (BCCI) secretary Jay Shah introduced that the board will bridge the pay hole between feminine and male cricketers by providing the identical charge to worldwide girls cricketers as males. The historic and long-overdue resolution is now being lauded by many. Bollywood stars together with Shah Rukh Khan, Anushka Sharma and others got here ahead to point out their appreciation.

Shah Rukh Khan took to Twitter to applaud the BCCI’s resolution. He wrote, “What a superb entrance foot shot. Sports activities being such an equaliser (in  extra methods than one ) hoping it should pave the way in which for others to observe.”

Anushka Sharma who is ready to play a cricketer in her upcoming movie Chakda Xpress, took to her Instagram tales to share the information with clapping emojis.

Taapsee Pannu who performed a cricketer onscreen in Shabaash Mithu shared a tweet to thank BCCI. She wrote, “An enormous step in direction of equal pay for equal work. Thanks BCCI for main with instance (clapping emoji)”

Saying BCCI’s transfer, Jay Shah tweeted on Thursday, “I’m happy to announce @BCCI’s first step in direction of tackling discrimination. We’re implementing a pay fairness coverage for our contracted @BCCIWomen cricketers. The match charge for each Males and Girls Cricketers would be the similar as we transfer into a brand new period of gender equality in Cricket.”
