On Monday, Emmy-winning “Abbott Elementary” star Sheryl Lee Ralph shared a publish on Instagram from the King’s Home, the place she was awarded the Order of Jamaica.

Together with Ralph, the ceremony honoured 143 notable Jamaicans, together with recording artist Agent Sasco, jazz pianist Monty Alexander and others.

“Effectively, it’s now official! I’m The Honourable Sheryl Lee Ralph OJ,” Ralph wrote within the caption. “Warrior Lady!”

The honour was celebrated by followers, together with “Abbott Elementary” creator and star Quinta Brunson, who commented with a coronary heart eyes emoji.

“YAAAAAAAAAAAAAS!!!!! 🇯🇲,” wrote Kerry Washington, whereas Joe Pantaliano added, “You have been at all times Honorable m!!! 😍”

Ralph made her display screen debut in 1977 with the movie “A Piece of the Motion”, and later had her breakthrough within the Broadway musical Dreamgirls.

She received an Unbiased Spirit Award in 1991 for her supporting efficiency within the Charles Burnett movie “To Sleep with Anger”, and has appeared in quite a few different movies and TV exhibits.

Final month, Ralph received the Emmy for her supporting efficiency as instructor Barbara Howard in “Abbott Elementary”.
