This was the early days of MTV. There weren’t that many rock movies but however she had one of many early music movies on MTV. I believe it was ‘Fortunate Star’. “Our first [shot] is when she’s strolling down the road consuming cheese doodles on St. Mark’s Place. Nobody paid consideration to us. Very low-key — no safety, entourage, nothing,” Seidelman famous. “By the top of the movie we did want safety.… Her life had actually skyrocketed in that time period.”
