EXCLUSIVE: Mahesh Bhatt calls Karan Johar an awesome achiever; Says ‘He has the heart to be himself’

Mahesh Bhatt was probably the most celebrated filmmakers of Hindi cinema, within the Nineteen Eighties and Nineteen Nineties. He carved a distinct segment for himself within the trade together with his movies that explored human relationships and the norms of society. For the unversed, Mahesh Bhatt had earlier collaborated with Karan Johar’s residence banner Dharma Productions, for the 1998-released movie Duplicate. The mission was produced by Karan’s father, the late producer Yash Johar. The film, which featured Shah Rukh Khan within the lead position, confronted many points throughout its manufacturing as a result of inventive distinction between Mahesh Bhatt and the manufacturing home. Karan Johar even took a dig on the filmmaker, in considered one of his previous interviews, for being ‘careless’ and inflicting ‘ache and despair’ to his father Yash Johar.
