Foundation

In addition to being an important certification for people working in the ITSM industry, ITIL practitioner certification can be a valuable addition to a resume. The ITIL framework has four levels of certification, and an ITIL practitioner certification can help you distinguish yourself from the rest. The ITIL Practitioner certification adds three credits to the expert journey and 15 points toward an ITIL badge. However, this certification is not required for any particular ITIL role.
The ITIL Practitioner examination contains forty multiple choice questions across the five ITIL service lifecycle practice areas. The exam takes approximately sixty minutes to complete.
