Nets’ Kyrie Irving could miss upcoming street journey

Suspended Brooklyn Nets guard Kyrie Irving has met with crew, league and union officers on “a number of events” in latest days and there is optimism for a decision “very quickly,” the Nationwide Basketball Gamers Affiliation instructed its membership Friday in an electronic mail obtained by ESPN.

Nets proprietor Joe Tsai and his spouse Clara on Thursday met with Irving, who was suspended for at least 5 video games for his preliminary failure to sentence and apologize for antisemitic materials shared to his social media.

“It is clear to me that Kyrie doesn’t have any beliefs of hate towards Jewish individuals or any group,” Tsai posted to Twitter on Friday.

The Nets are leaving Friday for a four-game Western Convention street journey. Even with the fifth recreation of Irving’s suspension coming Saturday evening towards the LA Clippers, there seems to be no momentum for his return throughout this journey that extends by Portland on Thursday, sources instructed ESPN.

The Nets return dwelling vs. Memphis on Nov. 20.
