Mariah Carey Responds After Martha Stewart Urges Her Not To Rush To Christmas: ‘Do Not Give Up Thanksgiving’

Martha Stewart made a televised plea to Mariah Carey — and earned a hilarious response from the Queen of Christmas.
Throughout her current look on NBC’s “At present”, co-host Hoda Kotb noticed that she’s observed that everybody appears to be “skipping Thanksgiving” and leaping straight to Christmas, singling out Carey as the principle offender.

“Mariah is like, ‘Bye Halloween, whats up Christmas!’” stated Kotb, referring to Carey’s current social media video during which she transitions from a Halloween witch to her full-on Yuletide mode.

This led Stewart to challenge a private plea to Carey.
‘Mariah, me, I’m a traditionalist with a twist,” stated Stewart, trying directing on the digital camera.
“And you can’t surrender Thanksgiving simply since you you don’t like turkey,” she added. “I really like turkey, and plenty of, many different folks love turkey. So don’t assume we’re going to surrender Thanksgiving simply since you say so.”
Carey caught wind of Stewart’s look, and issued a hilarious response by way of Twitter.
“Dearest Martha!! NEVER will I surrender Thanksgiving!!” she promised. “However we will nonetheless begin stepping into the festive spirit now!”
